What is Hoop Code?
Hoop Code Basketball Academy is Arizona’s premier youth basketball development organization. We provide high-quality, purpose-driven basketball training and coaching through Skills Training, Club Teams, Camps, and special events. Our experienced coaches are committed to helping athletes maximize their potential while developing the knowledge, discipline, and confidence needed to compete at the next level.
The word CODE represents the four pillars of our program: Character, Opportunity, Dedication, and Education. These values guide everything we teach, helping athletes grow into responsible, high-character individuals both on and off the court.
Do you have teams?
Yes! We offer teams for both boys and girls from Kindergarten through High School. All teams are coached and trained by Hoop Code’s certified professional staff and compete in leagues and tournament play. We provide opportunities for athletes of all skill levels and competitive backgrounds.
Players participate in seasonal evaluations to determine the best team placement for their development. Learn more at: www.hoopcode.com/evals
What is a Skills Training Membership?
Hoop Code Clinics are 90-minute, high-intensity skill development sessions focused on game-speed training. Sessions cover all major aspects of basketball, including advanced ball handling, attack moves, passing, conditioning, defense, rebounding, shooting, finishing, and team concepts.
Training is available for boys and girls in grades K–12 and is held every Sunday at the Boys & Girls Club Vestar Branch. For more information, visit: www.hoopcode.com/training
How long does a membership last?
Hoop Code Skills Training memberships are ongoing, recurring memberships billed automatically each month. Memberships continue year-round unless canceled, paused, or modified by the member or parent.
Please note that a “membership month” is defined as 30 days from the payment date, not a calendar month.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Skills Training memberships can be upgraded, downgraded, paused, canceled, or restarted at any time. Members may manage their own accounts or request assistance directly from Hoop Code. After cancellation, athletes may continue participating through the remainder of their current billing cycle.
Please note that all Hoop Code Team Packages are non-refundable. Team Packages have a minimum 3 month payment system. Early cancellation of team payment plans may result in automatic charges to fulfill the remaining balance owed.
For financial questions or assistance, please contact us at info@hoopcode.com.
Do you offer fee adjustments?
Yes! We offer sibling discounts for families with multiple athletes participating at the same time.
We also provide a Membership Adjustment Form, available to all families, to help make participation affordable. At Hoop Code, we believe in our “No Athlete Left Behind” commitment and understand that many families balance multiple children and sports expenses.
To apply for a membership adjustment, visit: www.hoopcode.com/scholarship or contact info@hoopcode.com.
When does the season start and end?

Do I need a BGCS membership to participate?

Do you offer private training?
Our primary focus for athlete development is through the Hoop Code Skills Training Membership program. However, some coaches may offer private training sessions. Please contact your athlete’s coach directly for availability and pricing.

We train boys and girls of all skill levels from Kindergarten through High School.
Can beginners participate?
Absolutely! Hoop Code welcomes athletes of all experience levels, including beginners. Our clinics are designed to adapt to each athlete’s skill level and developmental needs.
